Key to the Non–Segmented Worms
Phylum Platyhelminthes - The Platyhelminthes are flattened and will exhibit bilateral symmetry (Fig. 1). Eye spots are generally visible (Fig. 2). Overall body appears as in Figure 3.
Phylum Nematomorpha - The body is long and cylindrical (Fig. 4). The anterior and posterior ends of the body are rounded and sometimes lobed (Fig. 5). Overall body appears as in Figure 6.
